Today's Apps Gone Free: Craigslist, Angry Birds Space, Push Panic And More

Turn your iPad into a newspaper classifieds section with today's AppBump featured app, Craigslist. This is the first time Craigslist has ever been offered for free, so make sure to take advantage of this opportunity while you can!

Busy Train ($1.99 → Free, 44.3 MB): Explore the U.S.A. aboard the Busy Train with this educational app. Your child is able to plan short, medium, and long trips across the country. At each stop they'll see the state flag, nickname, capital, notable cities, landmarks, monuments, and major crops and industries. After their trip is over, they can participate in three different mini-games to find out how much they have learned. The points accrued from the mini-games can be used to customize their train.

Angry Birds Space ($0.99 → Free, 25.7 MB): The Angry Birds go intergalactic to save their eggs from the space pigs in this hugely popular physics puzzler from Rovio. Like previous Angry Birds titles, you're able to simply pull back on and release your birds to launch them through space. This time around, however, you'll need to utilize the gravitational pull from planets to wipe out every last pig. The game includes 160 levels, new birds to try out, loads of power-ups, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

PhotoCal with Event ($0.99 → Free, 1.8 MB): Sometimes tracking down photos in Apple's native Photos app can be tricky, especially if you have a huge library. PhotoCal simplifies the search by allowing you to view your photos on a monthly calendar. All you have to do is provide PhotoCal with access to your library, and it will instantly arrange and display your photos. If multiple photos were taken on a single day, just tap on it to view all of them at once. PhotoCal also allows you to add new photos and events. The app includes iCloud support, the ability to add comments, and a customizable grid view.

NCLEX-RN Practice Test & Questions ($9.99 → Free, 10.6 MB): Study and prepare for the National Council Licensure Examination with this medical app. It includes a practice exam that features 400 questions which cover everything from safety and infection control to physiological adaptation. You can also customize the exam to focus on specific knowledge areas. Your test progress is saved locally as you go, so you can practice anytime, anywhere. You're also provided with detailed scoring and results analysis.

Craigslist ($0.99 → Free, 25.2 MB): Browse through Craigslist like you would the classifieds section of your favorite newspaper with this news app from Lifelike Apps. The app's main screen presents you with all of the categories Craigslist has to offer along with a search option. Just start digging around, and if you find anything of interest, circle it with your finger to instantly add it to your favorites. Each listing allows you to view photos, find it on the map, and share it via email, Twitter, or Facebook. If you want to put something on Craigslist, have no fear, the app includes a full-featured listing section.

Push Panic! ($1.99 → Free, 19.0 MB): Don't push your luck in this colorful puzzle game. Boxes of different colors will begin to fall into the screen, and it's up to you to keep them from pushing past the bar at the top by removing matching groups. You're able to select blocks with a tap, and remove them from the screen with a second tap. Try to group together as many blocks as you can before removing them to earn big points. Power-ups will also randomly fall into the mix, so keep an eye out for them. The game includes four modes, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.
