Topple 2 Is Back In The App Store

May 6, 2013
A classic iOS game has just made its triumphant return to the App Store. Rereleased by Mobage, Topple 2 focuses on testing your block-building skills. With more than 30 levels set in six unique Topple worlds, gamers must try to balance and stack fun blocks by using both the touchscreen and accelerometer. If you get tired of the single-player action, you can challenge friends to a “Stack Attack” to see who is the best builder in real time using a Wi-Fi connection. Gamers can also offer Direct Challenges that can be sent through social networks like Twitter. Topple 2 is a universal app for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. It can be downloaded in the App Store now for $0.99. It is thankfully optimized for the larger, 4-inch screen of the iPhone 5 and newest iPod touch. The title was originally developed by pioneer Ngmoco, which was also behind games like Rolando and We Rule. After being purchased by DeNA in 2011, Ngmoco began laying off employees and stopped introducing iOS titles. We all loved Topple 2 when it was originally in the App Store. Now that the game has been rereleased, we’ll definitely be checking it out soon and see how it handles in the new age of iOS gaming. [gallery link="file"]
