After WWDC, Apple Likely To Hold Two ‘Special Events’ This Fall And Perhaps A Third

Immediately following next week’s keynote address at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), attention will turn to the fall, and with good reason. Cupertino will likely use Monday’s address to unveil new Macs. However, the bulk of their new devices probably won't be announced until the fall.
So when will this happen? It looks like Apple will once again hold two “special events” this fall, just as they did in 2012. The first event, sometime in August or September, will likely feature the next-generation iPhone, and the so called “iPhone mini.” This will also be the time that iOS 7 is released to the public.
Our best bet: New iPhones will be officially unveiled sometime during the week of September 9. This will also be the time that we’ll be seeing new iPods arrive.
Apple will probably wait until late September, or early October to announce the iPad 5 and iPad mini 2. However, as a rumor recently noted, the second-generation iPad mini might not arrive in stores until November.
What will probably happen is that Apple will announce both new tablets at the same event. However, they will stagger their releases so that they don’t overlap. For example, Apple could release the iPad 5 in mid-October, but keep the iPad mini 2's release until mid-November.
The two wildcards, of course, are the so called “iWatch” and “iTV." Either or both of these products could be unveiled this year.
However, most rumors now suggest that Apple will put off the iWatch until 2014. Therefore, don't be surprised to see Apple launch an iTV later this year. If this were to happen, we'd expect to see yet another Apple event this fall. Either that or Apple could wait and officially unveil its first television at the Consumers Electronics Show in January.
