Apple Updates Messages App In iOS 7 To Include New Time Stamps
June 24, 2013
Another new feature in the latest iOS 7 beta comes in the Messages app. Now you can see when a specific message line was sent or received. In previous iOS versions, time stamps would only show at the beginning of a conversion.
In this example from iOS 6, a conversation started at 10:59 a.m. However, there is no way to know when each line of that conversation was sent.
Now, take a look at a different message in iOS 7. By swiping right to left, you can now see the specific times each line of a message was sent.
Obviously, this isn't that big of a change. Nonetheless, it does provide yet another example of the many changes coming to iOS.
