Belkin is the latest company to offer a battery case for the iPhone 5. The company today introduced its Grip Power Battery Case that features a 2,000 mAH cell. Along with claiming to more than double the battery life of the iPhone 5, the case's grip bumper is designed to provide extra protection for the handset. The case's anti-glare camera ring won't interfere with the iPhone's flash. The included micro-USB cable charges both the battery pack and the handset itself. The case retails for $99.99 and is available on Belkin’s site or at BestBuy.com. It is available in four different color combinations – Civic Blue/Stone, Purple Lightning/Fountain Blue, Blacktop/Gravel, and Whiteout/Blacktop. After a long drought thanks to the new Lightning connector, the number of battery case options for the iPhone 5 have greatly increased in the last few months. Most notably, Mophie has three different battery cases to choose from, including the new Juice Pack Plus.
