Cambridge Audio Introduces The Minx Go Bluetooth Speaker

June 7, 2013
UK-based Cambridge Audio, well-known for producing high-end speakers, has recently unveiled an interesting and fairly inexpensive Bluetooth option. The new Minx Go boasts five premium speakers inside and digital signal processing technology to deliver expansive sound from a small footprint. The speaker even packs a punch on the bass side as the Go’s bass radiator is smartly integrated into the rear panel. Most impressively, the speaker has a battery life of up to 18 hours on a single charge, and takes just two hours to fully recharge. A built-in USB port also allows users to charge their iPhone or iPad from the Minx Go. The speaker remembers up to eight previous Bluetooth devices. Finally, a rear auxiliary port allows users to plug in other equipment, like a television or Blu-ray Disc player. Available in a high-gloss white or black color, the Minx Go retails for $149 and can be ordered directly through Cambridge Audio. If you’ve got a little more cash to spend, we recently highlighted two impressive AirPlay speakers from the company. The Minx Air 100 and 200 are available for $449 and $599, respectively. The larger 200 measures in at 18-inches wide and has a 200W set of digital amplifiers plus a built-in, active subwoofer.
