Logitech Acquires TidyTilt Creator, Announces New Products

Logitech has announced its acquisition of TT Design Labs, a two-person startup responsible for the creation of the popular "Smart Cover for iPhone," TidyTilt.
As a reminder, TidyTilt for iPhone originally launched as a Kickstarter project which secured more than 2,000 percent of its funding goal. In a press release announcing the acquisition, Logitech explains:
As part of the agreement, Logitech gains ownership of the assets of TT Design Labs, which includes products designed to improve the smartphone experience for people everywhere. [...] In addition, the company’s co-founders will join Logitech, with Derek Tarnow working full time for the company and Zahra Tashakorina on an ongoing consulting basis, both focusing on design for products that complement the smartphone.Derek Tarnow, co-founder of TT Design Labs, said: “The big winners with today’s announcement are smartphone users. In Logitech, we’ve found a true partner that shares our focus on creating great products designed to improve people’s experiences with the technology they love. We’re very excited to be working with Logitech.” Logitech's revamped TT Design Labs products, TidyTilt and JustMount, are currently available to preorder online for $34.99 and $24.99 respectively, and will ship to customers in the coming weeks.
