Watch Out, Siri: Donna Is A Promising Personal Assistant For iPhone

June 28, 2013
Move over, Siri. There's a new personal assistant on the iOS block, and her name is Donna. Named after the competent assistants in the TV series "The West Wing" and "Suits," Donna lets you take your mind off the little things so you can concentrate on more important stuff:
Donna manages your day, proactively giving you everything you need for an appointment: when to leave, if you need an umbrella, directions, attendee information, and one tap access to conference calls—all in a beautiful, simple interface.
If you have someplace to go, Donna notifies you when you have to leave and how to get to your destination. It even informs you whether you have to make time for traffic and how long it takes to park. The app also produces pertinent information when you need it, including weather forecast, contact details, and directions by car, bike or foot. Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.1 or later, Donna is available now in the App Store for free. The app currently works in the U.S. only, but it's set to support additional regions soon. Make sure to check back here on AppAdvice for our full review of Donna. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
