Apple Releases The First iTunes Radio Beta For OS X

July 29, 2013
Along with iOS 7 beta 4, Apple has released the iTunes 11.1 beta 1 for OS X 10.7 or later. This is the first release to include iTunes Radio. Available for Mac and iOS developers, the iTunes 11.1 beta 1 adds a “Radio” button at the top of the Library screen. From here, you can access Apple’s featured iTunes Radio channels, plus create your own. You can also select the “Settings” button from this screen. From here, you can remove explicit music and limit ad tracking. The iTunes Radio link doesn't appear in the iTunes Store. Likes its iOS counterpart, iTunes Radio on OS X is only available in the United States for the time being. Also, a beta for Windows-based computers has yet to be released. To download the iTunes 11.1 beta 1, visit the Apple Developer site.
