Best Buy Now Lets You Check In To Earn Points And Watch Items To Get The Best Deals

July 24, 2013
Best Buy has just been updated to version 7.1. Best Buy is, of course, the main iOS app of the eponymous consumer electronics chain:
Where technology meets a simpler, more convenient way to shop Best Buy. The newest version of the Best Buy App lets you gain instant Reward Zone Membership access, browse our entire product catalog, compare specs, find the best deals and much more. Now shopping in-store is as easy as tapping on your phone.
Version 7.1 of the Best Buy app introduces a couple of new features. First off, you can now check in to the app every time you visit your local Best Buy outlet to earn points for Reward Zone, Best Buy's loyalty program. Speaking of Reward Zone, the app has been updated to make it easier to view your purchases and keep track of your points under the program. The other new feature in Best Buy 7.1 is the ability to watch an item you're interested in. Aimed at helping you get the best deals out of Best Buy's offers, this feature notifies you when the price drops on any item you're watching. Best Buy 7.1 is available now in the App Store for free. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.0 or later. The Best Buy app is just one of a number of iOS apps officially maintained by Best Buy. The others are Best Buy Deals, Best Buy Game Trade-In, CinemaNow, Geek Squad, and Geek Squad Culture. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
