Can You Last For '400 Days' Amid The Zombie Apocalypse In Walking Dead: The Game?

July 12, 2013
A few hours ago, a new update was issued to Walking Dead: The Game. Apparently, according to its sole release note, the update brings nothing but miscellaneous fixes. Actually, though, the update introduces a brand new episode to the acclaimed action adventure game adaptation of Robert Kirkman's "The Walking Dead" comic book series. As we reported last week, Walking Dead: The Game would be getting a new episode titled "400 Days" today. And right on schedule, "400 Days" has been added as a new DLC in the game. The new episode serves as a bridging chapter between the game's first season, which ended with the release of the season finale episode "No Time Left" last November, and the game's upcoming second season. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. So named because it takes place over a period of 400 days, the new episode is not about Lee and Clementine, who are the lead characters in the first season. Rather, "400 Days" is about five different survivors of the zombie apocalypse whose stories are told in five different narratives that make up the episode. Walking Dead: The Game is available in the App Store for free. The free download already comes with the first episode of the game. Additional episodes, that is, episodes 2 to 5 and the new "400 Days" episode, may be unlocked in-app for $4.99 each. Alternatively, all additional episodes may be unlocked at once via a $19.99 multi-pack purchase. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
