Cydia Tweak: Gotha Adds Some Handy Shortcuts To Your Contacts List

Gotha is a new Cydia tweak that will add quick access to specific fields within your contacts. This tweak works right from the contact list in the Phone app or Address Book and allows you to swipe across an individual contact reveal shortcuts to get in touch with them.
For example, with a right swipe across a contact, mini icons will appear that require one touch actions. By tapping on any of the icons, you’ll be able to immediately access that icons purpose. Send a message, email, launch social networks, call that contact, and launch a contact-specific URL.
By swiping left across the contact, you’ll have the option to delete it from the list without the need to open the contact and tap on the “Edit” button.

Within the Settings app, you’ll have the option to disable the left swipe action, or force the tweak to prompt you before deleting a contact. I prefer to leave this option enabled to avoid accidental deletion of a contact. Gotha definitely provides a new way to get in touch with your contacts, but is it worth the price? Currently, Gotha is available for $1.99 in the BigBoss repository. In my opinion, Gotha is very helpful and I’ll probably keep it installed on my daily driver.
