One new jailbreak tweak can add a number of additional search categories, including the Cydia Store, App Store, iTunes Store, and more, to the built-in Spotlight search in Apple's mobile operating system. Called SearchAmplius, the jailbreak tweak is available to download for $2.99, via the BigBoss repository. Once downloaded and installed, jailbreakers will find that the following categories are added to Spotlight for iOS:
As you might expect, a search from Spotlight will then display results which include jailbreak tweaks, iOS apps, and YouTube videos, among others (as pictured above). What's more, jailbreakers who download SearchAmplius will be able to install the $0.99 SearchCollapse, which we told you about earlier today, entirely free of charge. With SearchCollapse, users can collapse search categories in Spotlight, making it easier to search out the item one is looking for. For more information on SearchAmplius, be sure to check out the below video walkthrough.
