OmniFocus For iPhone Update Adds New Background Sync Options And More
July 16, 2013
The popular task management app OmniFocus for iPhone has just received an update that adds new Background Sync options and a number of other improvements.
Taking advantage of iOS' geofencing capabilities, OmniFocus for iPhone's Background Sync ensures that you have the most current information even when you're out and about.
Just add your favorite or most frequented locations to the Background Sync list so that the app can automatically keep your information up to date every time you arrive or leave any of those locations.
And speaking of locations, OmniFocus for iPhone has also been updated to pull business search results from Apple instead of Google and to sort the same by proximity.
The latest update to OmniFocus for iPhone also brings support for sending actions via email, which is already included in OmniFocus for iPad, plus the following improvements:
The new version of OmniFocus for iPhone is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $19.99 download. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.1 or later. OmniFocus for iPad is available in the App Store separately for $39.99. OmniFocus was declared the winner in AppAdvice's App Showdown of GTD apps, which pitted the app against Things and The Hit List. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
