Apple Updates iOS App And Adds Apple TV Channel For iTunes Festival London 2013
August 21, 2013
With just over a week to go before the big event kicks off, Apple has updated the official iOS app of iTunes Festival London 2013 with a refreshed design. More notably, the company has also added a new iTunes Festival channel for live streaming and replaying the performances during the concert series.
Apple announced late last May that Justine Timberlake, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Jack Johnson, and Jessie J would be among the headliners of this year's iTunes Festival. Since then, a number of other popular artists have been added to the lineup, which, according to TimeOut London, currently stands as follows:
First held in 2007, the iTunes Festival is an annual Apple-sponsored music festival that features over 60 performing acts and runs every night in September at The Roundhouse in London. Tickets to the festival are not available for sale. Rather, they are given to competition winners only in certain countries, including the U.S., Australia, Brazil, Canada, Europe, Japan, Mexico, and the U.K. For more information, visit the official iTunes Festival website.
