Dig Through The Most Popular Articles Across The Social Web With Digg For iOS
August 15, 2013
Digg for iOS has just been updated with a number of improvements that are simply worth digging.
First off, the app has a new Popular section that features, well, the most popular articles across all of your Digg Reader feed subscriptions.
Digg for iOS now also lets you see only the unread items in any Digg Reader feed. Just scroll to the top of any feed to toggle between the All and Unread views.
In line with this, the app now also includes a setting to show only folders and feeds with unread items. Just go to the app's Settings section, scroll toward the Digg Reader menu at the bottom, and toggle the setting in question as desired.
And if you wish to no longer see certain feeds and folders at all, you can now delete those directly from within the app.
Also featuring improved scrolling performance and Readability support, the new version of Digg for iOS is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later.
Coinciding with the release of this update is the optimization of Digg Reader for mobile Web browsers. Just point your iDevice's browser (or even your non-Apple smartphone or tablet's browser, for that matter) to digg.com/reader to see the new version of Digg Reader on the mobile Web.
