Griffin’s New iPhone 5 Cases Look Good Both On And Off The Runway

August 22, 2013
Griffin Technology has announced that its Designer Series of cases will be featuring designs from Amanda Valentine. She is best known for an appearance as a contestant on “Project Runway” during the show’s 11th season in early 2013. Born in Nebraska, Valentine’s clothes reflect her Midwestern upbringing. And those interesting designs really transfer over well to the case selections for the iPhone 5. There are a number of case designs to choose from. Taking inspiration from Valentine's collection of vintage fabrics and hand drawn designs, there are six different hard, glossy shell cases to choose from that retail for $29.99. The Pyragrid is an interesting take on Griffin’s well-known Reveal case. The back features a hand drawn design made with UV-cured ink that creates a durable and textured feel. It costs $24.99. Finally, the $49.99 Machu Picchu Punk is a limited-edition fabric sleeve with ribbon accents and a solid brass ring. To find out more about the cases, or to place an order, you can go directly to Griffin’s site. Griffin has done a nice job offering unique and beautiful case options for the iPhone that aren’t enormously expensive. These new additions really continue that trend, and I’m interested to see what the company can come up with next.
