Twelve South Introduces The New HiRise Stand

August 6, 2013
Twelve South has just made my day. Its new adjustable HiRise stand is designed to work with an iPhone 5 or iPad mini and is compatible with most device cases. Users will need to provide their own Lightning cable to use the product, but that looks to be a small cost to pay for such an elegant solution. Thanks to adjustable support clips and movable rear support, Twelve South says the HiRise is compatible with a large amount of cases, including the OtterBox Defender, Speck Candyshell, and even the company’s own BookBook case for the iPhone. Since the HiRise elevates a Lightning-compatible device, it won’t block any speakers or headphone ports. It also looks like a nice way for handsfree FaceTime chatting. The HiRise retails for $34.99 and can be purchased now directly from Twelve South. Shipping is free to buyers in the United States.
