Twitter Update Makes It Easier To Follow Conversations

August 28, 2013
Twitter has just updated its official app for iOS devices with some greatly improved conversation features. First up, in version 5.10, a blue line indicates a conversation between people you follow. The first tweet in a conversation now appears above the most recent reply, which should help users easily figure out why the discussion began in the first place. Tapping the discussion also allows a user to see all of the replies. The update also includes new notifications settings and a wealth of bug fixes for direct messages, login verification, and more. A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Twitter can be downloaded now in the App Store for free. Earlier this month, Twitter released version 5.9 of its app. Most notably, that update added login verifcation for users that doesn’t require a phone number. There were other improvements made to the photo gallery view in search results and on a user’s profile page.
