Booking.com Hotel Reservation App Updated With New Wish List Feature On iOS

The official iOS app of the popular hotel reservation service Booking.com has just received another major update. The new update doesn't redesign and optimize the app for iOS 7. But it does introduce a new major feature: wish lists. With the new version of Booking.com for iOS, you can now create wish lists for your upcoming trips right from the app:

It's the 'favorites' feature you know and love, but organized into lists making planning even easier. Create a wish list of places to stay for your upcoming trip and have them at hand on any device until you're ready to book. If you're not sure where you are heading, but know you want to get away, create a "weekend away" wish list. With all of your favorites laid out in lists that are easy to review, deciding on the perfect place to stay has never been so easy!

To start creating your wish lists, just look for a property you wish to visit, swipe on its cell, and tap on the heart icon. You can also tap on the heart icon directly from the hotel screen. Note that Booking.com's wish list feature requires a Booking.com account. As an advantage of this requirement, wish lists can be synced across devices with the same Booking.com account. In addition to the new wish list feature, a new side menu for iPhone is introduced by the new update to the Booking.com app. This side menu can be accessed by tapping the menu icon in the app's home screen or by swiping to the right on the screen. The new version of Booking.com for iOS is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.3 or later. It is, as mentioned, yet to be redesigned and optimized for iOS 7, though. Booking.com for iOS is listed as a "notable app" in AppAdvice's Hotel Deal Finder Apps AppGuide.
