Flipboard Flips The Switch On Its iOS 7 Update Featuring Parallax In Magazine Covers

Flipboard is all set to be flipped on iOS 7. Just in time for the official release of Apple's next-generation mobile operating system, the popular social magazine app has been updated to be fully compatible with iOS 7. As a result, on iOS 7, the app now features iOS 7-style controls and "flatter" images. What's more, it features a tilt-based motion effect for full-screen magazine covers, inspired by the parallax in iOS 7 wallpapers. The Flipboard team notes:

The new version of Flipboard is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later. The newly updated app also offers the ability to delete unwanted comments directly in magazines and the ability to report inappropriate users and comments. It also includes Russian language support, bug fixes, and performance improvements. Flipboard was originally released for iPad in 2010. Its iPhone and iPod touch edition was launched in 2011, followed by its Android version last year. The app made its debut on the Web just a couple of months ago.
