If you’ve been searching through iOS 7 for new features and settings, you may want to take a look at Notification Center. If you haven’t explored it yet, iOS 7 adds a new Today View to Notification Center that will give you a rundown of your current schedule, reminders, destinations, and more. The best part is, the Today View is completely customizable. You have the option to enable or disable any of the default views in the list. This fantastic update also allows you to access Notification Center right from the lock screen. Because of this, Apple has added some additional options that will allow or restrict access to certain parts of Notification Center on the lock screen. If you’d like to customize Notification Center in iOS 7, take a look at our video tutorial below:

In order to adjust any of the options for Notification Center, you’ll need to launch the Settings app, then tap on “Notification Center” in the list. The first set of options will allow you to control Notification Center’s availability on the lock screen. You can disable the “Today View” or “Notification View" from the lock screen. If you disable both options, you will not be able to access Notification Center from the lock screen. The next set of options allow you to customize and rearrange the Today View. You can enable or disable any of the information shown in this view. You also have the ability to rearrange Reminders, Calendar Day View, and Stocks.
