Imgur For iOS Gains Various Features And Fixes With First Major Update

About a couple of months after its release in the App Store, the official iOS app of Imgur has received its first major update.
Imgur is known across the World Wide Web as the home to the most popular online image content, as selected by a community of avid users, commenters, voters, and sharers.
With Imgur for iOS, you can easily browse the most viral images on the Web as well as comment and vote on images that you like. In addition, you can use the app to submit images directly to the Imgur gallery and manage your Imgur account and albums.
As mentioned, the first major update to Imgur for iOS has just arrived. And the update brings the following features and fixes:
The new version of Imgur for iOS is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
- Images now have progress bars
- Added a long press / taphold on images. Tapping on images no longer views them (long press instead).
- Added pinch zoom on images
- Images will retry on download failure
- The way images are downloaded to be viewed was overhauled
- Redid commenting to fix bugs (jumping text areas)
- Improved stability -- Added safegaurds in case the Imgur API returns bad responses
- Fixed login/logout bugs
- Fixed notification bugs
- Fixed various other bugs
