On your marks, get set, go! RunKeeper has just received an update, which crossed the finish line earlier today and is available to download now in the App Store.
In version 4.0 of the popular running app, iDevice users can enjoy a fresh redesign which brings RunKeeper in line with Apple's incoming iOS 7. Describing the application as a "leaner, cleaner RunKeeper," the app's developer explains:
We've totally revamped our experience for iOS 7 to focus more on your data and progress and less on a heavy design. In fact, we cleaned up the app up so much, your phone may actually feel lighter when you're out on a run!As a reminder, RunKeeper allows iDevice users to track their performance while engaging in a number of different sports (which includes running, skiing, skating, and swimming). It also integrates with the Pebble smart watch to provide an at-the-wrist display. RunKeeper can be downloaded in the App Store free of charge, and is optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
