Moleskine Journal For iOS Gains New Text Engine, Presentation Mode And More

September 3, 2013
Moleskine Journal, the official iOS app of the popular Moleskine brand of notebooks, has just received what may very well be its biggest update yet. First and foremost, the latest update to the universal productivity app introduces a new rich text editor or Productivity mode featuring a new text engine. The Moleskine Journal development team explains:
This new text engine offers you the ability to continuously type text across many pages (page will flip automatically when cursor reaches the page end!). This new text engine now includes many formatting options such as bulleted list, numbered list, indentation, text highlighter and more. For the creative types, we kept the previous text tool and call it "Creativity" mode so you can still create large text, erase, rotate and pocket it - as you wish.
The new version of Moleskine Journal also includes a new Presentation mode. In this mode, you can three-finger swipe up to hide the toolbar and see the entire page and three-finger swipe down to restore the toolbar. Passcode protection, journal reordering, and improved Dropbox support are also introduced by the new Moleskine Journal update. Also including an enhanced drawing engine, improved page flipping, and increased speed, the new version of Moleskine Journal is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later. Moleskine Journal was launched for iPad only in August last year, but it was made universal with support for iPhone and iPod touch just a month later. The newly updated app also adds full-screen support for the iPhone 5 and the fifth-generation iPod touch. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
