Bluefire Reader 2.0 Features iOS 7 Redesign, Reading Location Sync And More
October 16, 2013
Three years after its release on iOS, Bluefire Reader has finally been updated to version 2.0.
As it happens, Bluefire Reader's 2.0 update is none other than the app's iOS 7 update. Bluefire Productions points out in the update's release notes:
Bluefire Reader has been completely redesigned for iOS 7. The all-new app fully integrates Apple’s iOS 7 design conventions. Bluefire Reader is cleaner and easier to use than ever!Aside from the app's iOS 7-inspired interface overhaul, Bluefire Reader 2.0 introduces several new features. These include reading location synchronization across devices. To use this feature, tap the Info button in the Library view, tap Enable Sync, and, if you haven't yet, authorize your device with your Adobe ID. Bluefire Reader, by the way, is designed for reading ePub and PDF e-books protected via Adobe Content Server, which is used by many retailers, publishers, and libraries around the world. The latest update to the app also adds library search (by title, author, publisher, and file type), a streamlined collections workflow, cover view for iPhone and iPod touch, and support for native iOS Facebook, Twitter, and other sharing options. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later, Bluefire Reader 2.0 is available now in the App Store for free. Bluefire Reader is included both in AppAdvice's Book Apps For iPad AppGuide and in AppAdvice's Apps For Book Lovers AppList. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
