Call Of Duty: Strike Team Gets Optimized For iPhone 5s Through First Update

Call of Duty: Strike Team has just locked and loaded its first ever update.
Released rather unexpectedly on iOS about a month ago, Call of Duty: Strike Team is a relatively new addition to the Call of Duty series of first- and third-person shooter games. Initially available exclusively on iOS, the game, according to Activision, has been "built from the ground up for mobile and tablet devices."
Call of Duty: Strike Team offers two game modes, namely, campaign mode and survival mode. In campaign mode, you get to play through a single-player campaign spanning various cinematic moments and locations. And in survival mode, you have to fend off waves of increasingly difficult enemies primarily to achieve global leaderboard domination.
And now, thanks to the game's first update, all maps in survival mode are now unlocked from the start for all players. Just tap the red markers on the globe to play survival mode.

The update also brings improvements for the iPhone 5s to "show off the power" of Apple's new flagship handset. Presumably, Call of Duty: Strike Team has been updated to take advantage of the device's A7 64-bit processor.
Furthermore, the update also has improvements for iPhone 4S, fifth-generation iPod touch, iPad 2, and iPad mini.
Note that Call of Duty: Strike Team is optimized for iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, fifth-generation iPod touch, iPad 2, third-generation iPad, fourth-generation iPad, and iPad mini.
Also featuring a reduced app size (from 1.31GB to 932MB), the new version of Call of Duty: Strike Team is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $6.99 download.
