Frontback Updated With Feed Improvements, Camera Gestures And More

October 27, 2013
The semi-selfie photo-sharing app Frontback has gained another round of improvements through its latest update. Launched by Checkthis last July, Frontback is an aptly named photo-sharing app that lets you take a photo with your iDevice's front camera and another with the back camera. It then lets you combine both photos and share them in a single image. The latest update to Frontback adds a couple of improvements to the app's feed. One, post captions are now visible in the feed. And two, most recent posts by your friends are now displayed above Staff Picks. The update also adds support for a couple of neat camera gestures. Now, you can swipe horizontally on the camera screen to switch between the front and back cameras. You can now also swipe vertically to swap the images. Moreover, it adds the ability to restore unfinished posts, even after closing the app, and the ability to invite friends by connecting the app to Contacts. Finally, the update lets you share your Frontback masterpieces via Tumblr, email, and SMS, in addition to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and the Frontback network itself. The new version of Frontback is available now in the App Store for free. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
