Ghosts, Gremlins And More Have Come Out To Haunt You In The Simpsons: Tapped Out

October is here, which means Halloween is fast approaching. But if you're a fan of "The Simpsons," you doubtless know what that really entails: another "Treehouse of Horror" episode. This year, the long-running animated sitcom's Halloween episode, which is already the 24th in the "Treehouse of Horror" series, is scheduled to air on Fox on Oct. 6. And you better not miss it if you want to unlock a unique outfit for Homer in The Simpsons: Tapped Out.
The Simpsons: Tapped Out, the popular simulation game based on "The Simpsons," has indeed been updated for the spooky season — not only with a new outfit for the doughnut-loving patriarch of the eponymous dysfunctional family, but also with ghosts and gremlins galore.

The latest update to The Simpsons: Tapped Out also brings a UFO, new chilling characters, new blood-curdling buildings, a nerve-racking ride, sinister decorations, and hair-raising quests:

- Springfield’s Spooky Specters– Something strange is happening in the neighborhood, haunting apparitions have invaded Springfield and are starting to take possession of its citizens. Burst these ghosts with a tap of your finger, suck them up with the vacuum, or blow them up with the mighty ghost bomb. Collect the precious GOO that is left behind to win personal prizes and unlock community rewards.
- Grisly Gremlins- Every popped ghost gives you a chance to collect some Gremlins; release these fiends into your friends’ towns for a chance at some bonus GOO.
