New Space Gray Non-Retina iPad mini Now Available At Apple Retail Stores
October 25, 2013
Apple has begun selling the new space gray version of the non-Retina iPad mini at its retail stores, according to a new report by 9to5Mac.
The space gray non-Retina iPad mini was announced by Apple alongside the iPad mini with Retina display at the company's special media event last Tuesday. Like the new device model, the non-Retina iPad mini comes in space gray and white/silver.
The space gray version of the original iPad mini has been available at Apple's online stores since Tuesday. But it's only now that it has begun appearing in Apple's retail stores. Note, though, that the model is initially available in select retail stores only. Other retail stores are expected to carry the model soon.
Like its white/silver counterpart, the space gray non-Retina iPad mini comes only in a 16GB variant, which costs $299 for the Wi-Fi version and $429 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular version.
Replacing the black/slate color finish, the space gray color option made its debut on the iPhone 5s. It has since been applied to many of Apple's other mobile devices: the iPod nano, the iPod shuffle, the iPod touch, the iPad Air, and the iPad mini.
