New Spin App For iOS Seeks To Put A New Spin On Real-Time Video Chatting
October 2, 2013
Net Power & Light aims to reinvent video calling on iOS. And it has set out to fulfill this no small undertaking by releasing Spin.
Spin promises to bring "the first real-time together experience" on iOS. With the app, you and nine other users can participate in live sessions and chat together with high-resolution photos and videos.
Apparently, Spin makes this possible thanks to a number of proprietary trademarked features with rather fancy names. The sessions are, in fact, called Gatherings, and the promised experience itself is referred to as Human Fidelity, offering high-definition video and rich audio delivered through ListenUp.

And you also get to experience Group Remix, Spinvitations, FXPs, and ChalkTalk:
Gesture-based controls also figure prominently within Spin. And if you want to take your Gatherings to the big screen, you can do so with the app's built-in AirPlay support. Spin is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
