Power Up The New Lithium 4400 External Battery With The Unique PowerPot V

October 29, 2013
While there are a number of external battery packs for buyers to choose from, the new Lithium 4400 is definitely designed for the outdoor enthusiast. From Power Practical, the 4,400mAH battery even doubles as a lantern to light the way. Charging at 1 amp, the device should easily be able to juice up your iPhone to 100 percent capacity in 60-90 minutes. While the Lithium 4400 can be charged conventionally through a computer’s USB port, a much more interesting way is with the company’s PowerPot V. As the name suggests, the product is a lightweight thermoelectric generator that converts any heat source into DC electrical power. So while you’re camping out, you can boil water and charge pretty much any device imaginable with the pot’s built-in USB port at the same time. A solid-state regulator provides up to 5W of power. A 3-in-1 fast charge cable with a mini-USB plug, micro-USB plug, and 30-pin adapter is included, but you can easily plug in a Lightning cable to charge an iPhone 5 or 5s as well. Retailing for $59, the Lithium 4400 can be purchased directly from Power Practical’s site or at a number of other retailers throughout the United States. The PowerPot V itself can be purchased for $149.
