Take The Fight From iPad To iPhone And iPod touch With Battle Of The Bulge 2.0
October 18, 2013
Shenandoah Studio's Battle of the Bulge has just become pocket-sized.
Thanks to its new 2.0 update, the popular strategy wargame has just gone universal, 10 months after its release in the App Store as an iPad-only title.
As a result, Battle of the Bulge is now compatible with iPhone and iPod touch as well as iPad. Shenandoah Studio says in a new blog post:
Originally designed from the ground up for iPad, we took on the challenge to make Battle of the Bulge work on a smaller screen. We’re pleased to report that the result is excellent. A newly designed UI built for iPhone and iPod Touch as well as other behind the scenes tweaks make the game a great fit on this platform. This is not a pared down experience, you are getting the full game tailored for the best performance on your device (iPhone (3GS+), iPod Touch (5th gen+), and all iPads). If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. Battle of the Bulge 2.0 also introduces the Player's Guide and the Designer's Guide, both of which were originally created as rewards for the game's Kickstarter campaign. The former, which is found under the help menu, contains strategy articles from some of the game's top players, while the latter, which is available via a $2.99 in-app purchase, offers tips on game design for aspiring game designers. Also including localizations for Japanese and Spanish, Battle of the Bulge 2.0 is available now in the App Store. In celebration of its 2.0 update, Battle of the Bulge is currently on sale at 40 percent off. Normally priced at $9.99, the game now goes for $5.99. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
