The Simpsons: Tapped Out Update Brings Some Thanksgiving Fun To The Table

Cowabunga, man! Just in time for the Thanskgiving holiday here in the United States, the always fun The Simpsons: Tapped out has just been updated with a number of timely new features. Version 4.5.3 is highlighted by the addition of two characters. Here’s what the release notes have to say about the gluttonous update:

Help Sacagawea Lisa save the turkeys before the town devolves into an orgy of decadence and consumption with Turkey-geddon 2013. And find out how the Tribal Chief reacts to the culture in Springfield.

And along with those fun characters, the update adds a new building: Caesar’s Pow-Wow Casino. Just make sure not to lose all your money there. A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, The Simpsons: Tapped Out can be downloaded now in the App Store for free. As usual with this type of game, there are many opportunities for in-app purchases. Before today’s update, the most recent versions of the game landed in early October and August.
