Write For iPhone And Write For iPad Both Updated With Major Improvements
November 3, 2013
Both iPhone and iPad editions of the slick note-taking and writing app Write (formally Write for Dropbox) have just received significant updates.
Write for iPhone has been updated to version 2.1 with a couple of new features that are tied to iOS 7: Text Kit integration and Background App Refresh support.
With Text Kit integration, Write for iPhone now offers smoother rendering of rich text and better handling of larger documents. These two new features are also included in the latest update to Write for iPad, which is now at version 2.0. In addition, Write for iPad 2.0 also features a new iOS 7-inspired design, new Cloudy White and Space Gray themes, and support for rich text editing — all of which were introduced to Write for iPhone through its 2.0 update last September.
Moreover, Write for iPad 2.0 adds support for the following external keyboard shortcuts:
Write for iPhone 2.1 and Write for iPad 2.0 are available now in the App Store as free updates or as new downloads priced at $1.99 each. Both apps are compatible with iDevices running iOS 7.0 or later. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
