As it's given to do at this time of year, Apple has just debuted a new holiday-themed TV ad highlighting at least one of its top products. This year, the company has decided to focus on the iPhone 5s and its AirPlay capability in a rather heartwarming family-oriented commercial. In the newly launched TV ad, a teenage boy is shown being absorbed in his iPhone 5s and indifferent to the rest of his family's merrymaking. Or is he? As it turns out, he's just been "Misunderstood," as the ad's title suggests. Actually, he's been recording a video of the holiday trip all along. In a touching twist, he puts the resulting video on show for all to see via AirPlay, set to the tune of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." Cue the tears. You can watch the ad below, which has just been posted by Apple on its official YouTube channel: If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. Last year, Apple's holiday-themed ad featured the iPad mini, FaceTime, and the hit Bing Crosby song “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.” The year before that saw Santa Claus using Siri on his iPhone 4S to complete his Christmas mission.
