CBS Sports App Goes 7.0 For iOS 7, Gains Live Streaming Radio Feature
December 11, 2013
CBS Sports has just been updated to version 7.0 with a redesigned interface based, of course, on the look and feel of iOS 7. Perhaps more importantly, though, it has also been updated with a new major feature.
CBS Sports is the one-stop iOS sports app from the interactive division of CBS. It provides information on the latest sports news, scores, standings, schedules, and special events all in one place. In addition, it offers live streaming video and on-demand video programming for major sports.
And now, thanks to its 7.0 update, CBS Sports also offers live streaming radio. This lets you listen to Jim Rome, Doug Gottlieb, and other personalities from the CBS Sports Radio Network.
Also featuring an improved news headline and article view, CBS Sports 7.0 is available now in the App Store for free. It's compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later
Released way back in March 2009 for iPhone and iPod touch, CBS Sports finally gained universal support with native iPad compatibility just last August.
