Groupon Goes Universal Just In Time For Your Deal-Of-The-Day Holiday Shopping Spree

Just in time for the holidays, Groupon has released a universal version of its iOS app to make your deal-of-the-day shopping easier, whichever iOS device you're on.
Groupon for iPhone has just been updated to version 3.0. As it happens, Groupon 3.0 finally brings universal support for iPad and iPad mini as well as iPhone and iPod touch.
Now, you need only download one Groupon app for all of your iOS devices. Groupon HD for iPad and iPad mini remains available, but I expect it's going to be pulled from the App Store soon, following the release of the universal Groupon app.
Launching alongside the universal Groupon app, by the way, is iPad support for the following countries: Argentina, Denmark, Finland, Greece, India, Israel, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Turkey, and U.A.E.
Also, Groupon 3.0 introduces a new iOS 7-inspired design for both iPhone and iPad.
Furthermore, the update revamps the My Groupons and My Profile pages and adds support for installment payments in Brazil.
Also including the usual round of bug fixes and performance improvements, Groupon 3.0 is available now in the App Store for free. It's compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later.
