Lemon Wallet Gets Updated And Rebranded Following Acquisition By LifeLock

December 12, 2013
The popular card digitization app Lemon Wallet has been acquired by the identity theft protection company LifeLock. As a result, Lemon Wallet is henceforth officially called LifeLock Wallet. Also, the app has been updated with new features, most of which are tied to LifeLock's identity theft protection system. First off, LifeLock Wallet lets you connect an unlimited number of payment cards to track spending and balances for free. It also offers a couple of $0.99 one-off in-app purchases, one for customizing the app with new skins and the other for prioritizing unlimited cards using favorites. LifeLock Wallet also provides the following additional features with a LifeLock identity theft protection membership:
  • Proactive Alerts – Receive push notifications of alerts and respond immediately, “No, this was not me” to confirm fraudulent activities
  • Monthly Credit Score – Helps you identify important changes and see how your score is trending over time (requires LifeLock Ultimate™ membership)
  • Valuable Tips – Expert tips, news and information to help you protect yourself from identity theft
  • Information Security – No LifeLock account information is stored on your mobile device, so even if you lose it, your identity is protected
  • Easy Contact – Call a U.S.-based Member Services agent 24/7/365 at 1-800-LifeLock (543-3562)
LifeLock Wallet, formerly Lemon Wallet, is available in the App Store for free. It's optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.1 or later. Lemon Wallet's acquisition by LifeLock comes just over a month after the app was updated with a new iOS 7-style interface, support for manually adding cards, and other improvements.
