Lose Your Christmas Calories With Noom Weight, Just Updated With M7 Support
Now that the holiday season is drawing to a close, you might already be looking to lose those Christmas calories you've acquired. Fortunately, there are plenty of apps that can help you on that front. One is Lose It!, which was recently updated with improved food search, sharing, and challenges, as well as support for meal summaries. And another is Noom Weight, which has just been updated with several enhancements of its own.
Noom Weight is a fitness app that lets you log food, exercise, and weight all in one place and gives you insights into how you can achieve sustainable weight reduction.
The app is free to download, but additional features are offered via a Noom Pro subscription, which is available for $9.99 monthly, $19.99 quarterly, or $49.99 yearly. Noom Pro includes instant feedback on logged food, logging reminders, weekly articles, and Noom groups.
As mentioned, Noom Weight has just been updated with several enhancements. Foremost among this is support for the M7 motion coprocessor, effectively adding an integrated pedometer feature to Noom Weight on iPhone 5s:
Calling all iPhone 5S users! Noom Weight now utilizes your phone's M7 motion sensing technology to track your steps automatically! Noom will keep track of your step record and intelligently adjust your calorie budget to account for your everyday activities.
The new version of Noom Weight also features improved food search. It also sees the return of motivational messages, user-submitted words of wisdom or silliness about weight loss that you can read by pulling down on the main screen.
Also including bug fixes and other general improvements, the new version of Noom Weight is available now in the App Store for free. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later.
Noom Weight was redesigned for iOS 7 a month ago. At the same time, the aforementioned Noom Pro subscription was introduced to the app.
