Swipes' First Major Update Brings New Features, iOS 7 Redesign Plus More
December 15, 2013
The simple yet powerful to-do app Swipes has just received its first major update.
Released exactly six months ago, Swipes was reviewed quite favorably here on AppAdvice. In her review, my colleague Christine noted: "It’s fast, simple, and elegant. I think if someone is looking for a non-complex way of managing their tasks, then an app like this is exactly what they need."
And thanks to its first major update, Swipes has more to offer. Specifically, the app now supports priorities and provides search functionality within tasks, notes, and tags.
Most noticeably, though, the latest update to Swipes refreshes the app's design to better match the look and feel of iOS 7. It also adds new backgrounds to get you moving through your day.
Of course, the update also includes the obligatory round of bug fixes, along with some usability enhancements.
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later, the new version of Swipes is available now in the App Store for free.
As it happens, the new version of Swipes also sees the introduction of Swipes Plus. Swipes Plus is Swipes' subscription service that offers access to the following premium features:
Swipes Plus is available via in-app purchase for $0.99 per month or $9.99 per year. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
