Unique iOS sports news app theScore has just been updated with a number of improvements.
Version 4.1 of the app is highlighted by the addition of a continuously updating stream of sports content. Found in the My Score section of the app, users can customize the Feed section to display all the information on the leagues, teams, and players they follow in one place.
Fantasy sports fans can also use the Feed to keep track of their favorite players in real time with the section.
Sports fans should also enjoy the new customization options for the Top News portion of the app. Swiping left or right quickly switches between news for specific leagues.
And finally, the new Featured Events section will keep fans up to date with all the news from upcoming major events like the Winter Olympics and 2014 World Cup.
A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, theScore Mobile can be downloaded now in the App Store for free.
While I usually take advantage of ESPN’s numerous iOS apps, theScore definitely looks interesting, and I’m looking forward to giving it a try.
