Who Sampled What? Find Out In WhoSampled, Now Redesigned For iOS 7

December 15, 2013
After a year without having received even just one minor update, WhoSampled has finally got a new update. WhoSampled is the official iOS app of the music discovery website of the same name. Like its parent website, WhoSampled lets you discover the connections between original songs and various sample-based music, cover songs, and remixes:
Where was this song sampled? Who covered my favorite artists? What remixes were made for this track? WhoSampled knows! WhoSampled is the essential music DNA discovery app that lets you explore the music connections in your music collection. Access the world’s largest database of sample-based music, cover songs and remixes, and discover who your favorite artists have sampled, or whether your favorite songs have been covered or remixed!

And this new update, not unexpectedly, brings about WhoSampled's iOS 7 optimization and redesign. About time, too, since iOS 7 has been out for nearly three months now. While maintaining the app's original structure and navigation scheme, WhoSampled's new iOS 7-inspired interface is, of course, simpler, cleaner, and flatter. The latest update to WhoSampled also adds a new option to sort the tracks on any artist page by popularity so that the most popular tracks are shown first. The new version of WhoSampled is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $2.99 download. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 4.3 or later.
