Eat24 Food Delivery And Takeout App Updated With iOS 7 Redesign And More Features
January 29, 2014
The official iPhone app of the popular food delivery and takeout service Eat24 has just received another major update.
Released in June 2012, the Eat24 app has just been updated with a new design that, as you might have guessed, matches the flat and simple look and feel of iOS 7.
The app has also been updated with home page access to favorite restaurants, restaurant filtering by price, and a revamped restaurant info page.
Here's the changelog for the update, which, like the app's loading messages, is brimming with light, chuckle-inducing humor:
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 7.0 or later, the new version of Eat24 is available now in the App Store for free. Eat24 for iPad is also available in the App Store for free, but it's yet to be updated with the aforementioned improvements. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
- Apple came to our office with a knife (a sleek, visually stunning knife) and threatened to freeze our app if we didn’t (finally) optimize for iOS7. So we did, and it works way better. Thanks, Apple!
- Hit up your favorite restaurants right from the home page. One less click! You’re welcome, thumbs.
- Budget conscious? We added an option to filter restaurants by price. Because tax season.
- Badass new Restaurant Info page now includes: - Share menu via Airdrop, Email, Twitter or Copy link - Past Orders - What’s Good: See top dishes. - Option to Call Restaurant and get directions, or just say Hi <3
