Human 2.0 Features Indoor Activity Tracking, Improved Detection System And More

January 31, 2014
Human, the iPhone fitness app that encourages you to move at least 30 minutes per day, has just been updated to version 2.0, five months after its release in the App Store. Previously, Human tracked outdoor walks, runs, and bike rides only. But beginning with version 2.0, Human now tracks all types of exercises of at least one minute or longer, including indoor exercises such as gym activities and dancing on your own à la Robyn. "Indoor tracking does not mean that we'll be counting your steps to the watercooler from now on," notes developer Humanco. "You're still gonna have to work for your minutes - but all types of exercise count, as long as you have your phone on you." If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. In line with this, Human's activity detection system has been rebuilt in version 2.0, making for improved accuracy and optimized battery life. Note that every minute counts toward your Daily 30, Daily 60, or Daily 90. And Human now notifies you when you've unlocked any of those badges. Also, it now has a notification pane where you can keep track of them. Optimized for iPhone running iOS 7, Human 2.0 is available now in the App Store for free. Human 2.0 also features photographic background artwork from Kuvva, with a new image shown in the app every day. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
