Namco Bandai Unfolds English Language Version Of Tales Of Phantasia For iOS

English-speaking JRPG fans, rejoice! The iOS edition of Tales of Phantasia is now available in English.
Last September, Namco Bandai launched the iOS port of Tales of Phantasia, which was originally released on Super Famicom in 1995 as the first installment in the popular Tales series of role-playing video games. But released at it was in the Japanese App Store only, the game was presented entirely in Japanese.
Well, as noted by Touch Arcade, it has just been made available in English with the release of Tales of Phantasia (English Ver.) in the App Store.
Tales of Phantasia follows the story of Cress and Chester, two young men who embark on a fantastic quest through time and space:
Cress, a young man living in the village of Toltus was out hunting with his friend Chester. Just as they had caught their prey, they heard the warning bell from the direction of the village. Cress returns to the village and from there, his journey begins to unfold in unexpected turns through time and space...Tales of Phantasia for iOS offers simple touch-optimized controls, Game Center integration, and optional in-app purchases. Most notably, it features animations and voice-overs for key events, including the main scenario and battle. Tales of Phantasia (English Ver.) is available now in the App Store for free. It's compatible with iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, fifth-generation iPod touch, iPad 2, third-generation iPad, fourth-generation iPad, iPad Air, iPad mini, and iPad mini with Retina display.
