The Moment Lens Kickstarter Wants To Help Make Your iPhone Photos Even Better

If you enjoy taking photos with an iPhone, a new Kickstarter project should definitely pique your interest. Much like competitor Olloclip, the two new Moment lenses are designed to simply fit over your existing iPhone camera to provide a better image.
Here’s a quick video about the project. Click here if you can’t see it.
But the Moment Tele and Moment Wide lenses do offer some unique features. First, the lenses can be used with a wide variety of iOS devices, including the iPhone 4s and up and the second, third, and fourth generation iPad.
Surprisingly, the lenses work with or without a case thanks to a thin metal plate that attaches to the handset or case.
And even though the funding campaign just started today, Moment is well on its way to being funded. As of now, more than $21,000 has been pledged on a $50,000 goal.
For a pledge of $49, you can select from either a Moment Wide or Moment Tele lens. A $99 pledge will net you both. Both a phone mount and cloth sleeve to carry the lenses are included.
Most rewards are expected to ship in June.
There are a number of sample images on the project page taken with both lenses, and the results are pretty striking. I’m interested to try out both lenses when they hit the market.
