Fantastic Document-Scanning App Scantastic Updated With Universal Support And More

February 24, 2014
Scantastic, the "one-tap-scan" Scanner Pro rival app created by Partly Cloudy developer Raureif, has just been updated with universal support. Released early last December for iPhone and iPod touch, Scantastic has just gone universal through its latest update. As a result, the app has been made natively compatible with iPad and iPad mini as well. In addition, the new Scantastic update adds 64-bit support for enhanced performance on iPhone 5s, iPad Air, and iPad mini with Retina display. Moreover, the update brings about less storage usage in saving documents, along with a number of bug fixes and performance improvements. As before, Scantastic boasts a unique document-scanning interface designed for iOS 7 plus the following key features:
  • Scan your documents quickly and efficiently
  • Retrieve your documents from a beautiful chronological waterfall
  • Share multi-page PDF documents
  • Enhance your documents with easy but powerful editing tools
  • Automatically upload scans to Dropbox, Google Drive, or Evernote
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later, the new universal version of Scantastic is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $1.99 download.
