Star Wars: Tiny Death Star Update Brings An Overhaul To The Imperial Assignments

With the help of the dark side, Star Wars: Tiny Death Star has just received a major update.
Easily the biggest change in version 1.3 of the fun game is an overhaul to the imperial assignments. Here’s the complete scoop from the release notes:
The Emperor has demanded more assignments to be completed, so Lord Vader has revamped the system and hired new Supply Officers. Assignments level now supports up to 3 holo-projected assignment givers. Imperial levels can assemble multiple resources on their own and by pairing with additional levels. As a reward for your service to the Empire, Assignments now provide additional rewards such as VIPs, Imperial Bux, Costumes, Levels and Characters!The update also ushers in new special, limited-time events to protect each battle station. Gamers can earn brand new rewards for their efforts. Also, all non-currency rewards are now shipped to each players Death Star via the Cargo Bay. Finally, the game now features Facebook integration. Gamers can sign into the social network to save their games across devices and see which of their friends are also playing. A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Star Wars: Tiny Death Star can be downloaded now in the App Store for free. Originally arriving back in November, the game is a collaboration between LucasArts and developer NimbleBit. Bringing Tiny Tower like play to the Star Wars universe, gamers are greeted with cute 8-bit style graphics and a lot of other fun. You can read more about how the game works in our original review.
