Konami Releases iOS Companion App Of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

Concurrent with the North American release of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Konami has just come out with the official iOS companion app of the new prequel in the Metal Gear series of action-adventure stealth video games.
Also called Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, the companion app connects to the game on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One to offer three special modes: iDroid Mode, Mother Base Mode, and Cassette Tapes Mode.
In iDroid Mode, the app lets you navigate the world of the game by using the iDroid as a navigational system and terminal for summoning support choppers.
In Mother Base Mode, you can:
Expand Mother Base, build a private army, and dispatch troops to battlefields around the globe. Manage your forces and build your military might in this military base building simulation. Play as a stand-alone app, or sync with with MGSV: GROUND ZEROES to unlock special troops and weapons obtained from within the main game!Finally, Cassette Tapes Mode lets you listen to the game's audio tracks anytime with your iOS device. But this mode becomes available only after you finish the game with iDroid Mode connected. The app also features a data portal where you can get the latest information on Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. The Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes companion app is available now in the App Store for free. The game is compatible with iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, fourth-generation iPod touch, fifth-generation iPod touch, iPad 2, third-generation iPad, fourth-generation iPad, iPad Air, iPad mini, and iPad mini with Retina display. As mentioned, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is out now in North America. It's scheduled to be released in Europe and Japan on March 20 and in Australia on March 27.
